Vanmyke is a concept created by Mike van Beuren in 2009 to promote, expand and
create contemporary electronic music. His works as a Dj, Audio producer and Sound engineer have
handed him the tools and encouraged him to enhance the growth of non-commercial and non-main
stream contemporary electronic music through the use of digital platforms and live performances.
Mike van Beuren was born in Mexico. At the age of 20 he left his homeland to start his musical studies.
After gaining expirience in cities like Milan and Barcelona, he finally established in Amsterdam were
he obtained a degree in Sound engineering and Audio production. He also works on his
freelance productions and engineering jobs for television and music bands. He regularly plays as Dj at Boom Chicago and at Marquee in Amsterdam city.
